This perfectly non-functional teapot is made from Cherry wood and measures 9″ long, 5.5″ wide, and 5″ tall. The spout is the head of a shrew and the tail is the handle. There appears to be a leaf on top of the very rotund shrew, and a large Box-Elder Beetle on top of that. The beetle is made from Ebony and Bloodwood and lifting up on it brings out the tea ball, or in this case, the “worm ball”, which is there just to keep the shrew happy. Retail price $1400. Estimated shipping $30 – $50, depending on destination. Wis. sales tax where applicable.
