This Dragon Teapot has been turned and carved from Black Walnut with Ebony fins and measures 13.7″ long, 9.4″ tall, and 8.3″ wide. Suspended under the lid in place of a teaball, is the Dragon’s heart which is carved from Bloodwood, and hinges open to reveal a burning fire made from Mulberry wood. This piece is in a private Teapot collection. To commission a piece similar to this one would be between $3000 and $4000, and would take several months to complete. Not made to be in contact with liquids of any kind.
